Two volumes of Shulchan Aruch HaRav, by Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Baal HaTanya. First edition.
• Shulchan Aruch HaRav, Orach Chaim, part I, sections 1-215. Kopust (Kopys): Brothers R. Yehuda and R. Yisrael Yoffe [sons of R. Or Shraga Phoebus], disciples of the Baal HaTanya, [1816].
This copy belonged to R. Chaim Berlin. Stamp on p. 137a (partially trimmed): "Library of R. Chaim Berlin…".
Other stamps (partially deleted).
Many handwritten emendations.
Incomplete copy. 83; 73-299, [1] leaves. Lacking first 8 leaves, including title page (originally: [2], 3-8; 83; 73-299, [1] leaves). Leaves 89-92 bound out of sequence. 18 cm. Fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Wear. Open tears, repaired in part with paper. Open tear to leaf 245, affecting text (and minor damage to text of another leaf). Extensive worming, affecting text, repaired in part with paper. Stamps and handwritten inscriptions. New leather binding.

Heading on title page: "Orach Chaim, Laws of Eruvin". This part in fact also includes laws of Yom Tov, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkah and Lulav. The present volume however only contains the laws of Eruvin (except a few leaves). The rest of the laws are lacking in this copy.
Partial copy. 5-100 leaves (lacking 8 leaves from laws of Eruvin, as well as the other laws; part III originally: [1], 2-164, 169-250, [2]; 23 leaves). 18.5 cm. Fair condition, several leaves in fair-poor condition. Stains and wear. Extensive worming, affecting text, several leaves with significant damage. Tears to several leaves. Rebound tightly (text close to inner margins is somewhat difficult to read). New binding.
