Framed lithograph - portrait of Rabbi Yosef Schwartz, author of Tevuot HaAretz, among the sages of Jerusalem. 1852.
As known, after Rabbi Yosef Schwartz ascended to the Land of Israel, he accepted several local customs and dressed in the garb of the period. This is how he appears in this portrait, in Oriental dress.
