Stieglitz Collection - Masterpieces of Jewish art. Inscribed and autographed by Joseph Steiglitz
The book was printed on chrome paper, authored by Benjamin Chaya, published by the Israel Museum, Jerusalem 1987. The monumental Judaica collection of Joseph Steiglitz [who continued building his father's collection, which was started in the 19th century] was donated to the Israel Museum. This book features select items from the collection [Jewish manuscripts, ritual ideas, pieces of art, ketubot and more]. It includes an expansive preface regarding the collector and historic information about various pieces.
This copy bears an inscription that was written and signed by collector Joseh Steiglitz, dated 30/10/1988.
