A Postcard Written in the Handwriting and With the Signature of Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg, the "Seridei Esh"
[1] leaf. A postcard sent in the post, 10x15 cm.
A postcard in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg - sent to Rabbi Y. Porath. "I begin by confessing my sin that I did not write and did not thank you for the precious gift, which is the book Mevo HaTalmud on tractate Chulin which his honor gladdened me with....". Later in the letter Rabbi Weinberg compliments him on his book which was published ["And it is full of Torah..."]and apologizes that he did not manage to write to him about it due to various illnesses which he suffered from.
Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg [1884-1966], author of the Seridei Esh, served as the head of the Rabbinical Seminary of Berlin.
Very fine condition.
