Pages filled with handwritten notes from a talmid of the Admor of Gur, the Beis Yisrael. Words of Torah and mussar from the Admor, from [1973-1975].
Torah said at the kiddush in his house Parshas Bamidbar, 1973; Leil Haseder 1974; Simchat Torah night, 1975; and Parshas Mishpatim 1975. The Admor quotes ideas that he heard from his grandfather the Sefas Emet; ideas from the Ruzhiner Rebbe; ideas from Yisrael'ke Aratin; ideas said over in the name of the disciples of the Besh"t, and more. Yiddish and Hebrew.
These handwritten shmuessen were never printed.
Rabbi Yisrael Alter [1895-1973] was the fifth Admor of Gur, and was known as the "Beis Yisrael", per the title of his work. In 1948, after the death of his father, he was appointed Admor. He administered to the Gerer chassidim in Eretz Yisrael before the War, and the Holocaust survivors. He was the nasi of the Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah.
