RAMSEY ANNE: (1929-1988) American actress, an Academy award nominee. A rare signed 8 x 10 photograph of the actress in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Mrs. 'Momma' Lift from the American black comedy film Throw Momma from the Train (1987). Signed in black ink to the image. A pencil note in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person on 9th April 1988. It was for her performance in this film that Ramsey received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination, just a matter of months before her death. EX
