KNAPPERTSBUSCH HANS: (1888-1965) German Conductor. Best known for his performances of Wagner´s music. Vintage signed postcard photograph by Knappertsbusch, the Fayer image depicting the German conductor in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in bold blue ink across the image to largely clear areas. Together with NEY ELLY (1882-1968) German Pianist, well remembered for her Beethoven´s performances. T.L.S., `Elly Ney´, with annotation in her hand, one page, to the verso of a 4 x 6 photograph, Tutzing, 13th December 1958, to Frau Cornand, in German. The image depicting to the front Elly seated, in a half length pose, playing the piano. VG, 2
