PLEYEL CAMILLE: (1788-1855) French Pianist, a virtuoso, who owned the Pleyel & Cie. Pleyel ran the concerts Salle Pleyel where Chopin played the first and the last of his concerts in Paris. Pleyel provided pianos to Chopin whose Nocturnes op.9 were dedicated to Madame Camille Pleyel, Marie, pianist and wife of Pleyel.
