VERLAINE PAUL: (1844-1896) French Poet. Considered one of the greatest in French poetry. A.N.S., P. Verlaine, one page, oblong 8vo, [Paris], 15th May 1891, to Mr. Vanier, in French. The document fully written and dated in Verlaine´s hand is a receipt, stating `Received from Mr. Vanier the sum of ten francs on account for ''Les Uns et les Autres''´. Small overall age wear, with very slightly uneven upper edge, otherwise G to VG Léon Vanier (1847-1896) French Bookseller and Verlaine´s Editor.
