Fritz, Reinhard (1946 Spornitz): "Himmelsleiter" Original serigraph, 1998. from the graphic portfolio "Drei Wünsche" Edition Pro Futura 1998. Motif: 30 x 55 cm, sheet size: 60 x 35 cm, silkscreen with 7 colours. Framed 37 x 62 cm, signed E.A. V/X, edition of 200. His paintings are extremely popular with collectors. Perhaps this is because they do not spread melancholy, but a positive attitude to life, a lightness that the artist, who himself plays the flute with passion, takes from music: "When I hear sounds, I see pictures." However, he does not illustrate specific pieces, he is more concerned with rhythm, colour tone, mood. In the process, the solid objects, figures and landscapes gradually disappeared from his painting, leaving only floating lines and long-drawn shadows, as when the sun is strong on luminous fields. Fritz's colours are never dull, but transparent and shimmering as if made of glass.
