Interesting collection of printed posters, supporting and opposing, many, varied letters from 1926-1927, issued by Zionist Organizations active in Bulgaria. Some handwritten protocols. Almost all in Bulgarian, interspersed with some Ladino.
1. Printed poster from the Yosef Marko Zionist organization. February 4th 1927.
2. Two printed leaves, blue paper. Star of David. Official ballot with list of candidates.
3. Letter with the Hebrew logo of the Zionist Organization in Bulgaria – Central Committee. 1926. Signatures. Additional letter, notice to Rachamim Moshnov that he was elected president of the Zionist Organization. Protocol of the first meeting after the elections.
4. 7-paged letter. Typewritten. Signatures of the community leaders. The job of each member of the community administration; administration, matza baking…
5. Two posters printed by the opposition.
6. Letter. Hebrew logo and a Star of David from Maccabi – the Zionist Sport Society. Additional letter. Hebrew logo as above. With additional line in Hebrew 'The language [Hebrew] is the soul of the nation' and 'a healthy soul in a healthy body'. Additional letter from Maccabi.
7. Lengthy handwritten letter, 5 pages. Regarding the life of Rachamim Moshnov, president of the Zionist Organization. Written by his daughter [?].
8. Printed poster. Many handwritten revisions. Apparently a corrected printer's draft.
9. Two posters opposing the Zionist Organization which acts against Bulgaria. Anti-Semitic. Not signed.
10. Lengthy printed letter. Two leaves. Printed for community members. Signed.
11. Another lengthy letter. Typewritten. Not signed.
12. Lengthy poster. Large, printed leaf. Apparently the opposition opposing the community administration.
13. Lengthy letter, 4 printed pages. Signed. Apparently the community administrations' response to the opposition.
These are almost certainly the only copies featuring valuable historic information about Bulgarian Jews. Very fine condition.
