Postcard - the Second Zionist Congress - 1898
Postcard of the Second Zionist Congress, held in Basel. Illustrated with the portrait of Theodor Herzl within a Jewish Star, surrounded by other zionist leaders including Max Nordau. The illustrations and text at the bottom include he western wall, Jewish immigrants in Palestine, and a quote from Ezekiel. Sent in 1904 from Russia to New York. Good - average condition, creases, the stamp was removed, writings, wear.
