Sterling Silver Torah Shield TAS, London, England, 1927, Judaica.
The shield is made with scrolled foliate chased border, applied with two pierced pillars, two ramping lions and a Torah crown topped with a Star of David.
The center of the shield is applied with The Tables of The Decalogue which open on hinges to reveal a miniature model of a Torah scroll.
Engraved in English - From Mr. & Mrs. N. Wurzal & Family, Leeds.
Three dangling heart shape pendants.
Also applied with a hinged plaque box.
Connected with a hanging chain.
Fully hallmarked (several times) for London, England, dated 1927, maker mark - M.R.
