Chinese-Tibet, late 19th century The bodhisattva stands on a double-lotus base with the principle hands in anjalimudra, six others with Buddhist symbols, and the multitude of others outstretched around him like a fan. He wears a diaphanous dhoti adorned with beaded jewelry. The faces, are arranged in tiers, and are surmounted by the diminutive head of Amitabha. A double vajra underneath the base 37.5 cm high
