Over 200 Works from the Archives of the Bass Museum including Paintings, Fine Art Photography, Architectural Drawings and Models, Modern and Contemporary Art, Drawings and Contemporary Sculpture.


On Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM EST, Lion and Unicorn Auction House (200 Oakwood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33020) will be proudly presenting an art auction of over 200 lots from the archives of The Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach, Florida. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the museum's John and Johanna Bass Acquisitions Fund, allowing the Bass to acquire new artworks, conserve works from the permanent collection, and create further avenues for future artists to present their works to a wider audience.


Included in the sale: Original Oil Paintings, Fine Art Photography, Architectural Drawings and Models, Modern and Contemporary Art, Drawings and Contemporary Sculpture.


Founded in 1964 to house the private collection of John and Johanna Bass on its donation to the city, The Bass Museum has established itself as the leading space for the exploration of contemporary art in Miami Beach. Its program embraces design, architecture and fashion alongside visual art.

Paul Woods became well known as an artist and activist in Gay Liberation in the UK from the 1970s and through to the 1990s.
