1. Mateh Ephraim, with notes by Rabbi Yisrael Voltz, head of rabbinical court of Budapest.
Two books bound together, both by Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margaliyot of Brody: "Mateh Ephraim", Bardiav, 1928, and "Shaarei Ephraim", Orshuva 1932.
Stamps of Rabbi Yisrael Voltz, head of rabbinical court of Pest, appear in the book as well, as eight explanatory notes in his handwriting.
Rabbi Yisrael Voltz (5647-5734, 1887-1974), one of the greatest rabbis of Hungary, served as the rabbi of Pest (a part of Budapest). His son and son-in-law were murdered during the Holocaust; he survived, immigrated to Israel, and settled in the Rabbis' Neighborhood in Jerusalem. His many rulings were printed in 'Divrei Yisrael' Responsa and other books he wrote.

2. Meginei Eretz, with commentary by Rabbi Meir Stalevitz, the rabbi of Zichron Moshe.

On the title-page of the third part are the stamps of Rabbi Meir Stalevitz with his various titles. Many of his handwritten notes appear throughout the book.
Rabbi Meir Stalevitz (5630-5709,1870-1949), one of the greatest rabbis of Lithuania, Russia, and Jerusalem. Was the rabbi of Haselvitz in Belarus and other cities. After immigrating to Israel in 1932, he served as the rabbi of the Zichron Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem. Was one of the leaders of the 'Union of Refugee Rabbis from Russia'. Wrote "MiBeit Meir," a series of volumes of responsa.

3. Chazon Ish to Kodshim, with notes by Rabbi Binyamin Yehoshua Zilber.

The book contains four explanatory notes handwritten by Rabbi Binyamin Yehoshua Zilber.
Rabbi Binyamin Yehoshua Zilber (5666-5768, 1906-2008) one of the greatest religious decisors of our generation. A member of the Council of Torah Sages of 'Agudat Yisrael'. Wrote various books, the most famous being 'Az Nidberu' Responsa (14 volumes).
All books in very good condition.
