1. Shabbat Ha'Aretz, The Sabbath of the Land, on the laws of Shmittah by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook. First and complete edition.
A complete edition with the blue cover. This edition exists neither in the National Library nor in The Institute for Hebrew Bibliography. In the latter, people attest that there is a blue cover, yet they have never seen such a copy. Most rare!

2. Pri Etz Hadar by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook.
Both books were given by Rabbi Kook as a gift to Rabbi Arieli. On the first page of each, Rabbi Arieli wrote: "Given to me as a present by the Gaon author, here in Jerusalem, may it be rebuilt, Yitzchak Zembraver". On the title-page is the stamp "Yitzchak Zembraver, Jerusalem;" he later Hebraicized his name to Yitzchak Arieli.
Rabbi Yitzchal Arieli (1896-1974), one of Rabbi Kook's greatest students and a supervisor at 'Merkaz Ha'Rav' Yeshiva. The rabbi of the 'Knesset Yisrael' neighborhood in Jerusalem. Was known as one of the greatest religious decisors of Jerusalem and became famous for his book 'Enayim La'Mishpat' on the Talmud. He had a hand in printing some of Rabbi Kook's compositions during his lifetime.
Rabbi Arieli studied one-on-one with Rabbi Kook every day. These were special hours and Rabbi Kook would never allow them to be interrupted under any circumstances.
The two books are bound together.
Excellent condition.
Rare!
