A first monograph on the Talmudic Sage R. Hanina bar Hamma, his history and sayings in the Aggada by Dr. Binyamin Ze'ev Bechar (1850-1914), a professor in the Academy for Rabbis in Budapest, Hungary. Translated from German by the writer Alexander Ziskind Rabinowitz (1854-1945), one of the senior authors in Israel.
Printed by Sa'adya Shoshani, Jaffa 1916. This is the first edition of the book, which was published again in 1925 as part of a broad series of volumes.
