VINTAGE AMERICAN SIGNED PHOTO OF MARLENE DIETRICH
A vintage black and white photo of Marlene Dietrich with an original autograph of the actress. The photo was made by George Edward Hurrell (1904-1992), a photographer who contributed to the image of glamour presented by Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s. Framed. This autographed photo of Marlene Dietrich is presented with an original Certificate of Authenticity Heroes and Legends, attached to the back. Marie Magdalene Marlene Dietrich (German, 1901-1992), a German born American actress and singer. Her career spanned from the 1910s to the 1980s. Dietrich was known for her humanitarian efforts during World War II, housing German and French exiles, providing financial support, and even advocating for their American citizenship. For her work on improving morale on the front lines during the war, she received several honors from the United States, France, Belgium, and Israel.
