Printed ketuba, hand-painted, filled in with an Oriental hand, Rhodes, Greek 1927.
Groom: Avraham HaLevi ben Elazar HaLevi. Bride: Orotom bat R' Yitzchak Ibn Sushin. Witnesses: Nissim ben Nurtimo and Yosef Lilchel. Crown-shaped decorations and leaves on the right and left.
Size: 50x75 cm.
The Ketuba collection of the National Library lists only five ketubot from the Island of Rhodes in the 20th century. This ketuba is not listed.
Ink smudges, primarily on the sides of the ketuba. Aging stains, moderate-fine condtiion.
