Chana Ariel—Vayikra, Bamidbar, Devarim—plus Imrot Tehorot. Rabbi Isaac of Homil. First edition, Berdichev 1912.
Two sections of the book Chana Ariel by the Chabad gaon Rabbi Isaac Homler, one of the greatest students of the Baal HaTanya. Leviticus through Deuteronomy (separate title page for each section), maamarim in the style of Chabad on the parshiyot of the Torah. Pretty copy with the original green jacket title page. [3] leaves, 102 pages, [2] leaves, 138 pages, [2] leaves, 112, 12 pages. Defective spine, good condition.
The section on Imrot Tehorot includes Maamar HaShabbat, Maamar Havdalah, Maamar HaBrachot, Maamar Klalot HaTorah, and at the end Shut from the author. First edition as well. On the title page of the book, the publishers write: “based on the holy words we are sure that anyone who merits bringing this holy book into his home will have the merit of the tzaddik to protect him”. [1], 79 leaves, 10 pages. Binding is loose and missing the spine, good condition.
