James Gillray (1756-1815) was a British caricaturist and printmaker famous for his etched political and social satires, mainly published between 1792 and 1810. Inscription; "Pub May 29th - 1789 by J. Aitken. Castle Street Leicester Fields" on the left corner. Size - 9.75"H x 13.5"W. Weight - 1oz. Age related wares. Toning. Tears and crease on the edge. Overall good condition. Weight: 1 oz.
