A description of the journey of the Austrian Crown Prince, Archduke Rudolph, to Europe and the Middle East. The journey began in Vienna and continued through Alexandria, Egypt, the Nile, Jaffa, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and more. Illustrated with 93 engravings, each on a full page. On the cover there is a gilded illustration of the Austrian royal emblem.
