Research book on Palestine by Major Conder, who was the commander of the British Army Research Mission in the late 19th century. Includes descriptions of the demographics and customs of the residents of Palestine. From the series: "The World's Great Explorers". With illustrations, a folding color map at the beginning of the book and six more color maps at the end. Nice leather binding.
English, 270 pages, good condition: there is a tear in the folding map. 19X14 cm.
