Yale Epstein, American, born 1934, limited edition etching with aquatint on paper, Western Cascade. Circa: 1980s to 1990s. Signed in pencil lower right. Titled and numbered 46 of 80 in pencil lower left. Yale Epstein is an American contemporary artist who resides in New York. Working as an artist for over 50 years, his work is an ever evolving process and he focuses on creating abstract paintings. Epstein works in an abstract style, exploring themes of movement, symmetry, pattern and grid configurations. He experiments with colour combinations to create compositions that vary from more minimalistic geometric works to intricate paintings that interweave organic forms.
