"The cry of Jerusalem!"; a call to Jews abroad to support the institutions of the Old Yishuv and avoid supporting the Jewish National Fund and Keren Hayesod. 1920s.

"Do not take part in funds that taunt the Torah ... if you want to observe the Mitzvah of settling the land, observe it in accordance with the Halacha ... donate to the healthy and fresh Old Yishuv with ourreligious institutions, Yeshivas and Talmudei Torah"; a voice calling donors not to donate to the funds of the Zionist organization.

[2] pp. 33 cm. Copy of a typewritten leaf, without a signature. Apparently has not been printed.

Content of the letter: the writer asks the Jews of the Diaspora who wish to support the settlement of Eretz Yisroel not to donate to the funds of the Zionist Organization, which is "the first hater of religion", and which wages a war against religion in the following areas:

1. Establishing educational institutions which encourage atheism and heresy.

2. Managing public non-kosher public kitchen that violate the Sabbath.

3. Supporting Kibbutzim of violators of the Sabbath who scorn religion and did not maintain the purity of the family.

4. Managing the Maccabee and HaPoel sports clubs which publicly violate the Sabbath.

5. Supporting members of Maccabee who hit Chareidim who protested against the violation of the Sabbath.

The decision whether to donate to the "Blue Box" or to Kupas Rabbi Meir Ba'al Hanes, the arguments pertaining to the support of the Jewish National Fund and the dispute with the leaders of the Yishuv concerning the enforcement of the Halacha in public were introduced at length in the Sefer Lehakos Shoresh by Rabbi Avraham Wasserman and Rabbi Eitam Henkin.
