The Activity of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk for the Etz Chaim Yeshiva Signed by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Salant

A letter from the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, stamped with the stamp of the Rav of Jerusalem Maran Rabbi Shmuel Salant, to a philanthropist who donated by means of the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Brisk. 


'We have received the special donation which you donated for the ascent of your sister's soul, by means of the Rav the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik Shalita, and bless you with wealth and honor and longevity'. 

A fine letter written by a scribe on the official stationery of the famed Etz Chaim Yeshiva, from Menachem Av 1907, which was sent to the philanthropist Mrs. Tzipora Lichtenstein, implying the work of Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Brisk for charity. 


The letter is stamped with the stamp of the Rav of Jerusalem Rabbi Shmuel Salant and on it, in scribal script, it was written 'I too bless her with success and all the best, signing with a blessing'. 

Also signed are the managers of the institution Rabbi Ephraim Sholom Hopstein, Yechezkel Lichtenstein and more.
