Letter of charity and blessings for good health, handwritten entirely by the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Spinka. Bnei Berak, 1978. 


A letter sent by the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Spinka, several days before Rosh Hashana 1978 in which he notes that he had sent a donation to an important charity fund and adds blessings for good health and a good a sweet year: 'ברכתי לרפואה שלמה מן השמים בתוך שאר חולי ישראל עם ברכת שנה טובה ומתוקה, ידידו המוקירו כערכו הרם, הק' יעקב יוסף וויס'. 


The holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Weiss of Spinka [1912-1988] the grandson of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac author of the Chakal Yitzchak of Spinka, served as a young Rav in Warsaw. He lost his wife and three children in the Holocaust. After the Holocaust, he reestablished the Spinka institutions in the USA and Israel and was acknowledged as one of the greatest Admorim after the Holocaust.
