Comprising; an Easter Egg, Moscow, circa 1900, decorated with plique-a-jour enamel, with Cyrillic characters XB (probably stands for христос воскресе (Christ has Risen), the Easter greeting), opens up, two hinged segments, gilt interior, hoop on top, marked and maker’s mark in Cyrillic initials; 9 cm high; (some loss to enamel)
together with a salt cellar, decorated in plique-a-jour and enamel, ball feet, marked and maker’s mark, possibly of Alexeev Nikolai in Cyrillic initials; 4.3 cm diameter
