Rare Silver Model of a Galleon Nef, Karl Kurz, Kesselstadt, Germany, Circa 1900.
Modeled as a single mast ship, cannon to the front deck, with 8 sculptured figures in various positions.
The hull is chased and embossed with mermaids, putti, dolphins and sea horses.
The upper deck can be detached from the hull.
The bottom of the ship stands on four dolphins.
On four revolving wheels.
Marked with German silver marks for Karl Kurz, English import marks (on each piece) for London, dated 1903, importer mark for Faudel Phillips & Sons.
