Four ancient medals with the image of Moshe turning to the left with a beard and a horn on his head.
On the back of the medals is Hebrew writing from the Ten Commandments: "You shall have no other gods in my place". One of the medals is silver, the others are bronze. One of the medals appears in the catalog of "The Feuchtwanger Collection, Jewish Tradition in Art" by Dr. Yeshayahu Shachor, published by the Israel Musem 1971. Item no. 743.
It is commonly thought that the medals before us were made in Bohemia in the 16th century. This is according to that listed in the Feuchtwanger catalog, ibid.
