Holocaust-era live-saving "fixer": authorization letter in Ger. dated 20-06-1939 (post White Book, pre WWII) by a Heinrich Rechnitzer of "Hungarian House" in J'lem permitting Shoshana Selzer of Meltours (possibly "Peltours") in TLV to receive a bill of lading for him; below & on back in manuscript are numerous details (dated 1939-1940) of German & Hungarian related shipments, contacts with Palestine passport control & immigration certificates + references to Yeshivas. Writer's address is the famous Haredi "Batei Ungarin" neighborhood of the 'Kolel Ungarin', a Hungarian Jewish charity supporting Jews living in Palestine.
