Rabbi Yaakov Chai Pinto: typewritten letter dated 5-12-1944 & signed by the Rabbi; addressed to Yitzhak Mamou in regard to a letter he sent the Rav 9 years earlier; the Rav expresses condolences on passing a female member of Mamo's family and offers to assist those who move to Palestine from Mamo's town. The letter was sent to Nabeul Tunisia. Mamou was a famous Zionist activist in Tunisia; Rav Pinto served as the Chief Rabbi of Tunisia.
