TENNIS : Small selection of five signed clipped pieces by various American ladies tennis players, all of them multiple Grand Slam tournaments winners comprising Helen Wills Moody (1905-1998) Considered by many the greatest female player in history. Wills held the top position in women's tennis for a total of nine years 1927-33, 1935 and 1938, and won 31 Grand Slam titles, including nineteen singles titles, eight of them at Wimbledon. She was the first American woman athlete to become a global celebrity, being part of the new tennis fashion, playing in knee-length pleated skirts rather than the longer ones of her predecessors; Helen Hull Jacobs (1908-1997) Former World number one and winner of nine Grand Slam tournaments. Two signed clipped pieces by Hull Jacobs, adding beneath her signature `Wimbledon Singles 1936´ getting the Singles Winner title, and `Wimbledon 22nd June 1939´ respectively ; Margaret Osborne DuPont (1918-2012) Osborne won 37 Grand Slam despite never entering the Australian open. She won 25 of her Grand Slam titles at the US open, which is an all-time record, and Louise Brough (1923-2004) Also known as Louise Brough Clapp. A thirty-five times Grand Slam winner. G,5 £100-120
