A Letter from Rabbi Dov Ber Borstein, Av Beit Din of Botoșani. 1946
A letter in the handwriting and with the handwriting of Rabbi David Borstein Av Beit Din of Botoșani [Romania] dated: Thursday Balak, 1946.
A halachic responsum regarding whether an Agunah is permitted to remarry. A woman who testified that she heard her husband died. He discusses the various aspects and rules not to allow her to remarry, but to leave the situation as it is "until a spirit from above rests upon her and she finds some testimony to shed light on the darkness of the topic under discussion".
