Pretty ivory housing for a megillah, inside is a Song of Songs megillah on klaf parchment. Israel, beginning of the 20th century.
Decorated with an engraving of “this is what is done to a man” (Haman leading Mordechai on a horse), oil jugs, plants and flowers. Inside is a megillah of the Song of Songs written nicely on parchment. Height: 23cm. Probably Israel. Very good condition.
