Original Vintage Dutch Poster "Korff's" Cacao Chocolate Amsterdam ca. 1900. Very good (A- to B+ )Some aging ,folds. some tears. Linen backed. 54.3X38.6 inches.
A very joyous poster commissioned by the Dutch chocolate manufacturer Korff, at the turn of the century. F. Korff & Co was an Amsterdam cocoa and chocolate factory , founded in 1811 by Frederick Korff , a spice merchant. Although the advertised product is definitely Dutch, this poster may have been commissioned for the French market since it was printed by Joubin & Beuchet frères in Nantes (Western France).
