Two Group Photographs of Members of the 'Linat Tzedek' Association in Grayavo [Poland] 1918
Two group photographs with portraits of the members of the 'Linat Tzedek' bikkur cholim association in Grayavo [Grajewo] - a small city in the Podlaskie province in Poland, Grajewo region].
Each picture depicts the association's administration beside the interior and exterior of the shelters, the doctors and the medications.
Despite the relatively small number of Jews in Grajewo during this period at the end of the First World War, with the Jewish community numbering a total of only about 3000 people, there was active Jewish cultural activity, in the form of zionist groups, Agudat Yisrael, and the Bund, as well as youth groups and Jewish cultural associations.
