Collection of 31 letters from rabbis and community leaders in the United States. 1930s-60s

Highlights include: Interesting letter written and signed by Rabbi Meir Schwartzman [1947] regarding the spiritual conditions in Canada: "The Zionists and their groups have hit deep roots in these lands since they worked with dedication for dozens of years, and we have come too late, but, far be it from us to despair ... and we will not become involved in the battles of the leaders in New York, because the curse of G-d is upon those who want to destroy and uproot and shatter the little that we have created ..."; an interesting letter written and signed by Rabbi Zaks to his student, R' Yitzchak Aggasi - 1944 [I remember you and your ability to absorb, your nice style, in short - a proper disciple, and I have grown old, and elderly, I am weak, and I have stopped raising generations of disciples and I find consolation in memories of earlier days ... now for some complaints: Why don't you remember me? Why Why? Your sin against me won't be atoned ..."]; an important letter written and signed by Rabbi Chaim Dovber Ginzburg, Av Beit Din in Vancouver [in which he expresses surprise at the Admor of Modzitz] "I will reveal to the honorable Torah ... my great amazement ... all straightforward intelligence can't understand why his mechuten, the Rebbe of Modzitz shlit"a in the Land of Israel, completely forgot that Hershe'le Hakatan is his brother, not even one spark of interest was ever seen by the Rebbe of Modzitz for his brother, the youngest son of his father ztz"l ...]; interesting letter signed by Rabbi Eliezer Brycks of Denver to Rabbi Shmuel Ahron Shadrovsky [1960] in reply to his request to visit the community to collect funds, he suggested that he not come since the men from Bialystock passed away, "and our community is not what it used to be, we do not have many donors who know how to honor genuine Torah personalities;" a condolence postcard written and signed by Rabbi Reuven Fain, Rosh Yeshiva Torah V'Daat in the United States.
