Classic sefer of novella on the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat by R. Yonason Eibeshitz. Includes the text of the Shulchan Aruch and Kitzur Tokfo Cohen by the Shach with the commentary Urim V’Tumim. With a long introduction by the author’s grandson.
R. Yonason Eibeshitz (1690-1764), was born in Cracow and was famous as a child prodigy. He served as Dayan in Prague and later as Rav of the three joint communities of Altona, Hamburg and Wandsbeck. He was a prolific author most well-known for Kraisi U’Plaisi on the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah and Urim V’Tumim on Choshen Mishpat.
Throughout the book are scholarly glosses, many of them lengthy, written by an unknown scholar.
