Halachic responsa authored by the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch published by his sons and grandsons. With two lengthy glosses by R. Ezriel Dov Ha’Levy Gitterman author of Shemen La’Maor.
R. Ezriel Dov Ha’Levy Gitterman was a prominent disciple of R. Moshe Tzvi of Savran whose sefer he published under the title Likutei Shoshanim (Lvov 1872). Known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he served as Rav in Karsan, hence he was known as R. Alter Karsanar. Author of Pri Deah on Niddah and Mikvaos (Chernowitz 1861) and Shemen La’Maor on Hilchos Gittin (Zhitomir 1871).
