Long Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Rabbi Yehoshua Aharon Zvi Weinberger Av Beit Din of Margarethen / a Long Response Handwritten by the Author of 'Yeri'ot Shlomo'
A large leaf with a letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yehoshua Aharon Zvi Weinberger Av Beit Din of Margarethen, the favorite disciple of the Chatam Sofer. An especially long letter, a long page with approximately 50 lines handwritten by Rabbi Weinberger.
The addressee: Rabbi Shlomo Ullman Av Beit Din of Macău, author of 'Yeri'ot Shlomo'. Margarethen, 1840.
On the leaf of the original letter, on its two empty pages, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ullman copied the version of his response to Rabbi Weinberger. Approximately two large pages handwritten by him. The fourth page is empty and on it are written the addresses of the sender and the addressee (as said, the original letter was folded and the response was written on it).
Large sheet of paper, 40cm. [3] written pages.
Condition: Fair-Good. Stains. Folding marks and tears [a tear with omission of a few words at the beginning of the letter by the 'Yeri'ot Shlomo'].
