On the reverse side of the leaf, a letter written with pencil by the mother of the boy on whom rabbi Eliyahu wrote.
Rabbi Eliyahu Doshnitzer (1876-1949) was one of the Lamed Vav Tzaddikim (as indicated by the Chazon Ish in his eulogy for him). He studied at the Telz and Slabodka Yeshiva. Later, he studied with the Alter of Kelm. One of the outstanding disciples of the Chafetz Chaim at the "Kollel Kdoshim". Replaced Rabbi Yerucham Leibowitz as a Mashgiach of the Radun Yeshiva. Since 1926, after his immigration to the Land of Israel, he served as a Ram and spiritual leader of the Lomza Yeshiva of Petach Tikvah. Among his disciples: Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky.
