Poster for decorating the sukkah – Slovakia, beginning of the 20th century.
In the center is a wonderful crown, below which is a pair of lions with verses about sukkot. Around it are: the prayer upon entering a sukkah, the prayer when leaving the sukkah, the yehi ratzon for the person intertwining the Four Species and bearing them, the Ushpizin, the kiddush for Sukkot, collection of laws and minhagim, and more. Printed by Rabbi Menashe Yehezkel Horwitz, who worked in Berdiyov at the beginning of the 20th century. Stains, professional repairs. 45x56cm, generally good condition.
