Two volumes that include 4 books: “Even Negef” on the history of the Kabbalists who lived prior to the Shabtai Zvi movement; “Even HaTo’im” on the false messiah Shabtai Zvi; “Even Efel,” on the kabbalists after his death and shame. “Even Mlo’im,” The history of those who came after Shabtai Zvi and his opponents. With additional appendices and pictures. By the researcher and historian David ben Yitzhak Kahane (1838-1915), author of dozens of books and articles. Perhaps his greatest work is the one before us. The first volume has 153 pages, the second has 192. Good condition.
