Circumcision knife - silver [stamped]. Delicate engraving work, Europe, 19th century.
Inscription on one side: 'ברית מילה' [circumcision]. The other side has a delicate engraving of the scene of the binding of Yitzchak - Yitzchak lying with hands tied on the alter, Avraham at his side waving a knife, and an image of an angel above him. Ram caught in a thicket at left. Geometric designs around both sides.
Length: 17.5 cm. Width: 2.2 cm. Rust marks on the knife handle. Moderate-fine condition.
