An envelope with a 'Palestine' stamp and a stamp of the English Post 5.5.48 with the caption "The last day of the mail under the British Mandate".
In the middle of the envelope is a stamp of the JNF [the stamp of the post office during the transition period] with the stamp of the People's Administration.
Another stamp is a 'Hebrew mail' with stamp: Tel Aviv, 16.5.48. With the caption "The First Day of the Hebrew Post Office".
