Amulet on Parchment written by kabbalist Rabbi Avraham Barazani. Jerusalem, 5th of Iyar, [1946].
Specifications: Ink on parchment, 76x4.5 cm. Prayer for protection, healing and fertility, with letter combinations and angels' names. Sephardic hand and scribal writing. Writer's name signed on the bottom of the amulet, with details about the place and time of writing.
Rabbi Avraham son of Rabbi Yaakov Barazani [d. 25th of Sivan, 1974] was a sage of Kurdistan and Baghdad, son-in-law of Rabbi Yehudah Patiyah. He moved to Jerusalem in [1934]. He was a noted kabbalist. Refer to: Arzei HaLevanon, 1, p. 50.
Condition: Very fine condition, other than a small hole at the bottom of the amulet and a small blemish on its side.
