Receipt - signed by "The Holy Shoemaker", Rabbi Moshe Ya'akov HaCohen Ravikov.
Rabbi Moshe Ya'akov HaCohen Ravikov (1873-1967) was a well-known and hidden righteous man who lived in Jaffa and earned a living as a shoemaker and was nicknamed "the holy shoemaker."
The beginning of his publication in Israel was by Rav Kook, who testified that he was one of the 56 hidden righteous men of the generation, who began to visit his home with Jews who sought his blessing, especially in medical matters, infertility and matchmaking.
Was a disciple of the "Ba`al HaLeshem".
He belonged to the group of kabbalists who studied together in secret, and who were named after the profession they were dealing with: the "holy painter" - Rabbi Yehudah Leon Patilon, "HaRatzaf" - Rabbi Avraham Fish, and "street cleaner" - Rabbi Yosef Voltuch. The shoemaker serves as the rabbi of the group.
According to his history, at the head of Likutei Rabbi Moshe Ya'akov, the Chazon Ish and the Beit Yisrael used to visit his home.
On the teaching of Hazon Ish, he began to bless people, telling him that sometimes the Chazon Ish would refer people to him by saying that "this person needs someone greater than me."
It is also said that on the eve of Operation Sinai, he watched the war and informed his associates, adding that "the Jews will win." Before his death he left a bottle of wine closed and ordered it to be opened only after the victory over Gamal Abdul Nasser. Six months after his death, the Six-Day War was held, followed by the opening of a bottle of wine that was considered a virtue.
