Germany: Kurt Eisner "Verlassen" ("Leave") satirical medal by Karl Goetz (ND), circa. 1918-1919; brass(?) cast; size: 57mm, weight: 56.5g. Obverse: bourgeois, rotund Jewish-Socialist "Minister-President" of Bavarian Republic, Kurt Eisner & wife, walking past Bavarian coat of arms; legend "VERLASSEN - 8.Nov.1918" ("Leave" & date of Eisner's ascention to power). Reverse: three "old-guard" knights shedding their uniforms & running away from Bolshevik mob bearing "Revolution" flag; legend "DES BAYERN-KÖNIGS LIEB GARDE" ("The Bavarian King's Lifeguards") and "IN TREUE FEST" ("In True Loyalty").
